TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HIGH STREET, SHAFTESBURY FOR SHAFTESBURY MONTHLY MARKET BETWEEN
FEBRUARY & DECEMBER 2018

For the purpose of Sunday Markets, DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use of High Street, Shaftesbury by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event and emergency vehicles –
On Sunday 15th April, 20th May, 17th June, 15th July, 19th August, 16th September, 21st October, 18th November and 16th December 2018
The alternative route for diverted traffic will be: via B3091 Bleke Street, A30 Bypass and B3091 Salisbury Road.
Marshals will be stationed at strategic points to ensure only those taking part in the event have access.
