Item 4.2.3 Shooters Lane – a meeting is scheduled this week
Item 4.2.6 Christy’s Lane Tree’s – Councillor Cook provided a verbal update. Committee agreed that an additional local resident should be invited to attend the meeting that is being arranged by Councillor Cook. Councillor David Webber, Chairperson of Melbury and Cann Parish Council attended the meeting and provided a verbal update on the Dinah’s Hollow concerns. It was AGREED to add Dinah’s Hollow to the December Planning & Highways Agenda.
Councillor Cook AGREED to contact Dorset Council Highways with the aim of contacting the named officer for Highways works at Dinah’s Hollow.

Enmore Court
Officer report 1121PH9 was received and it was RESOLVED that Shaftesbury Town Council demand a public meeting with Dorset Council to discuss the Affordable Housing Policy, allocation process and concerns raised in this meeting about affordable housing provision in Shaftesbury and specifically the proposed Enmore Court development. A press release is to be issued by Shaftesbury Town Council confirming its request.

Officer report 1121PH6 was received and it was RESOLVED To submit comments in respect of the proposed road closure along Bimport and St Johns Hill planned for 20th – 16th January 2022, it is proposed not to support this application until concerns have been addressed relating to the need for access to the Westminster Memorial Hospital (Minor Injury Unit & Palliative Care provider) including emergency services, Nursing Home access and any impact on the Ambulance station situated on Bimport.
