Following the Annual Meeting of the Council on 19th May 2026:
- Councillor Andy Hollingshead was elected as Mayor of Shaftesbury for the municipal year 2026/27.
- Councillor Virginia Edwyn-Jones was elected Deputy Mayor of Shaftesbury for the municipal year 2026/27.
