Summer Season 2025 at the Lido
The Lido opens for the summer season on Saturday 7 June 2025. We’ll be running both a Term Time and Summer Holiday timetable, so please visit our BookWhen page for the latest booking information and availability. In addition to Lane Swims and General Swims, we offer dedicated sessions including 50+, Parent & Toddler, Aqua Wellness, and Naked Swimming. Keep an eye out for our popular Full Moon Swims and a range of special events throughout the season. Join us for a fantastic summer at Dorset’s only Lido.
Booking
We strongly advise booking your session via our online booking system to avoid disappointment, although walk-ins are available (subject to space). Card and cash are accepted for walk-ins.
New for 2025 – Splash Squad for Kids
We’ve got something new on the timetable this summer, and it’s just for the kids.
Splash Squad is our brand new Tuesday morning session, packed with action, skills and plenty of splashing. Every week is different, from Aqua Fit to water polo, lifeguard challenges and stroke technique. It’s active, fun, and a great way to build confidence in the water.
The sessions run from 10:30 to 11:30am every Tuesday through the summer holidays, starting on Tuesday 29th July.
Guidelines
- Changing and toilet facilities are available.
- Spectator area available for viewing.
- Merchandise and refreshments available to purchase.
- Swimmers MUST shower prior to entering the pool to help maintain the water quality.
- Please spend as little time as possible in the shower/changing facilities during busy periods.
- Lockers are provided for storing valuable items.
- Swimmers MUST follow the pool rules and lifeguard instruction.
- Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied in the pool by a parent/carer at all times on a ratio of 1 adult: 2 under 8s.
