Full Moon Swims
Experience the enchanting allure of a full moon swim at Shaftesbury Lido, Dorset’s only lido. Nestled in the heart of Shaftesbury, this cherished council-run facility offers a unique setting for an invigorating cold water swim under the moonlit sky.

Pink Moon Swim
The April full moon, or Pink moon, symbolises new beginnings, growth and rebirth, encouraging emotional balance, harmony, and calmness. To honour this, we have the lovely Kate joining us from “The Vale Sisters Circle”. She will be providing a poolside meditation followed by a full moon release of anything you want to let go, before your swim. Participation is not essential for those who simply want to swim under a full moon.
With the heating off, please be aware that it will be cold water swimming conditions. Please take note of the advice and medical exclusions on the links when booking. You will need to complete a medical questionnaire (hard copies available at the pool). Not suitable for under 14’s. Under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult on a 1:1 ratio.
It will be chilly when you get out in the dark so please make sure you bring warm clothes, hot drinks and snacks for socialising after (no alcohol or glass, please).

Please arrive 10 minutes before your session begins so you can use the facilities to get changed, and ready for your session start time.
You will need to sign our Liability Waiver and a Lido medical questionnaire (unless you have already done so this season).
*Please note your dip must not exceed 5 minutes at a time for your health & safety.
