Proclamation Day

Deputy Mayor, Cllr Edwyn-Jones will be reading the local Proclamation on Sunday 11th September at 3pm from the Town Hall balcony. All residents are invited to listen to the Proclamation.

The Book of Condolence is available at the Town Hall for residents to write their tributes. It will be open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 3pm. The Books of Condolence will close the day following the funeral.

An online Book of Condolences is available on the Royal website for those who wish to send a personal message of condolence. Please follow the link www.royal.uk

Floral tributes can be placed at Park Walk, where a space has been marked out. We respectfully request no cellophane or naked flames.

The flag is at half-mast and will be raised to full mast on Saturday at 10am, as it is national Proclamation Day. It will stay at full mast until Sunday 11th September at 1.15pm, where it is lowered back to half-mast until 8am following the day of the funeral.
