Yesterday was our Annual Town Meeting where we showcased all the work we’ve put in over the past year, and the fantastic work by community groups.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended – we had over 50 people join us. What was evident at the meeting is the vibrancy of the facilities, services, community and voluntary groups and clubs in Shaftesbury. We’re very proud to serve Shaftesbury residents.
We were blown away by our amazing speakers, who did such a wonderful job of sharing how they work with the council for the benefit of Shaftesbury.
The wonderful Daniel from Shaftesbury Youth Council summarised this brilliantly – when you create these links, more than what was intended comes into fruition. Extending partnerships works.
