We are delighted that Shaftesbury Lido’s cold-water swimming trial has been featured on BBC News today.
The trial, which begins on Saturday 25th November for four weeks was launched due to demand from residents and will offer an alternative to sea swimming. Two sessions will run at 9am and 10am each Saturday until 16th December, after which point, the Town Council will review to establish whether the sessions continue in the new year.
The first two weekends are fully booked, but there are still spaces on the 9am session on 9th December and both sessions on 16th December.
