Shaftesbury Town Council has been informed by the directors of the Blackmore Vale Tourist Development Company that the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) will cease trading forthwith.

Shaftesbury Town Council understands this is a decision taken solely by the directors and is not connected to lack of funding or funding support. The Council recognise that the TIC is a crucial resource which hugely benefits the town and is keeping in close contact with the directors and the manager during this period. We will endeavour to provide updates as more information becomes known.
