The St James area, including Jubilee Steps, is one of the most important and iconic areas within the town. Shaftesbury Town Council aims to revitalize the area, whereby the play space blends seamlessly within a new landscape setting and makes use of the natural environment that already exist in this area.

This scheme focuses on the replacement of existing play facilities in St. James’ Park, Shaftesbury, alongside landscape works to ensure that new play features are integrated well within the park landscape. Landscape works will include path works (including the construction of a new pathway), turfing and installation of seats and benches.
The contractor will need to install new play equipment and site furniture. This will be sourced by the Town Council.
